At Palladium Security, we partner with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) to ensure rapid response to true emergencies. To keep police resources available for our community, the HRPS enforces a strict Cost Recovery program for false alarms.
⚠️ Important Policy Update: The HRPS no longer allows premises to register for a discounted response rate. If police are dispatched to an alarm caused by anything other than a criminal offence, medical, or fire emergency, a mandatory Cost Recovery fee of $197.75 is billed directly to Palladium Security and applied to the client's account.
Preventing False Alarms: You can help prevent unnecessary fees by ensuring all users are trained on system cancellation procedures, keeping pets and decorations away from motion sensors, and verifying that your keyholder contact list is always up to date with our monitoring station.
